Bath Championship Show
The pups turning 6 months meant we headed to our first show this weekend. We jumped in at the deep end with a Championship show that we haven't done before. What a day! Just so proud of them both. Nyknak behaved herself and placed second in a nice puppy bitch class, qualifying for Crufts 2018.
Drake was my little superstar and behaved impeccably taking it all in his stride. He was alone in his puppy dog class so won his class, but I was so proud of him going on to take Reserve Best Dog and Best Puppy in Breed. Never expected anything but a nice day out for the pups, and I was really over the moon. He has also qualified for Crufts 2018.
It was a special day because Rookie's breeder was there, the pups' breeder was there along with their mum (who was not entered) and another sister watching (also not entered). I also had several of my very best munster friends there which helped to make the day a bit less stressful (I really suffer with nerves at breed shows, which is the understatement of the century). It meant a lot to me to have two of my special boy's pups in the ring, and they did him proud by being such super dogs to be around; to do pretty respectably was just the icing on the cake. Just love these dogs.
Pippa and her mum also came for the day out. What a pretty little thing she is, so lovely to see her again. Such a sweetheart of a pup. There is certainly no lack of confidence in these pups! Bold, happy and outgoing little characters. Not fazed at all by the show environment. In fact bordering on disruptive ;) haha.

Great day. One I won't forget in a long time, good dogs, good friends, worth the stress!
